Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Full-Time Retail Electronics Merchandiser to join our team for Hoover, AL and the surrounding area. You will visit major retailers to install and maintain client displays, turning shelves into sales magnets with proper placement and maintenance.

Schedule offers 32–40 hours per week in daytime hours, with a bi-weekly pay schedule. Benefits include health/dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Retail Experience: Previous merchandising and 3PL/relevant retail experience desirable.
• Versatility: Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within the assigned territory.
• Attention to Detail: Read planograms and follow instructions precisely.
• Independence and Teamwork: Work independently and with a small team.
• Tech-ready: Internet access, basic handheld tools, and a smart device with GPS, laptop/desktop is a plus.
• Travel Ability: Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Physical Ability: Able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail establishments within an assigned radius.
• Purpose: Turn shelves into sales magnets and ensure proper placement, maintenance, and troubleshooting of display materials.
• Clients: Represent Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, Intel, and others.
• Scheduling: 32-40 hours per week; hours typically 8:00am–6:00pm; some weekends possible.
• Additional Opportunities: Potential for extra hours by covering larger region or other states.
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with photos for each visit.

What you will do:

• Store Visits:Complete projects at major retail establishments like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and others within an assigned radius territory
• Purpose:To turn shelves into sales magnets and drive revenue by ensuring the proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our clients' promotional product displays
• Clients:Represent innovative, global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, Intel, and many others
• Scheduling:This position offers 32-40 hours per week. Project hours and times fluctuate, so flexibility Monday through Friday typically between 8:00am to 6:00pm is necessary for the position. No evening hours required. Available to work on Mondays through Friday and occasional weekends.
• Additional Opportunities:If you can cover a larger region and travel to other outlying areas or states, there may be opportunities for additional hours
• Reporting:Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each completed store visit

• Education: High School diploma or GED
• Retail Experience:Previous merchandising, Must be experienced in 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility:Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within the assigned territory
• Attention to Detail:Ability to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams, Detail‑oriented with the ability to read planograms accurately.
• Independence and Teamwork:Comfortable working independently most of the time and collaborating with a small team when needed, Flexible and a team player with a strong sense of urgency to complete projects.
• Tech-ready:Access to the internet, basic hand-held tools, and a smart device with Wi-Fi/GPS capability. Access to a laptop or desktop computer is a strong plus.
• Travel Ability:A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle transportation
• Physical Ability:Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
