Job summary

Sierra Store Bedford NH, part of the TJX family, is hiring for a frontline leader responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and promoting loyalty programs. You’ll supervise Associates, train on front-end principles, and ensure store standards while maintaining a safe, organized environment.

Starting pay ranges from $15.50 to $16.00 per hour with opportunities to grow, and a comprehensive benefits package including associate discounts, health coverage, and retirement plan options.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Strong merchandising knowledge and ability to train others.
• Capable of multi-tasking with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

Responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience. Oversees a team of Associates at front of store ensuring prompt, courteous customer service and promotion of loyalty programs. Leads by example by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Role models outstanding customer service.

• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs
• Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
• Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
