Job summary

Aquent is partnering with a technology client in the retail space to deliver advanced demand planning and forecasting. This role focuses on shaping product availability, market performance, and revenue growth through robust forecasting processes across retail channels.

You will model promotional lifts, drive scenario planning, and provide strategic guidance to channel leaders, influencing decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in demand planning and forecasting.
• Promotional impact modeling and price elasticity forecasting.
• Background in B2C, consumer electronics, traditional retail, or finance.
• Advanced Excel for data modeling and scenario planning.
• Connect operational modeling to business strategy for retail leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day and periodic forecasts for the business.
• Lead forecast inputs: sales curves, baselines, promotions.
• Model promotional lifts with product-level detail.
• Perform deep-dive analyses on product performance and mix shifts.
• Provide forecasting and sales reporting support to channel owners.
• Manage forecast systems and update workbacks for cycles.
• Lead forecast review meetings with channel owners.
