Family Dollar in Uvalde, TX is seeking part-time staff to assist customers, operate registers, and support merchandise replenishment. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment while delivering friendly service.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, stocking shelves, unloading shipments, and ensuring assets are safeguarded. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, with an emphasis on teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and other physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
