Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC is seeking a part-time retail associate to assist customers, handle transactions, and maintain a clean, stocked store. You will support unloading and stocking deliveries, keep areas neat, and ensure a safe, friendly environment for customers and teammates.

The role requires light-to-moderate lifting, strong communication, and reliable follow-through on operational tasks with a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking/standing
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash
• Other duties as assigned
