Love’s Travel Stops is hiring a cashier in Winnemucca, NV. You will provide fast, friendly service, operate the register, and help customers with questions while maintaining clean facilities.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
• Willing to work flexible scheduling and cross-train in other departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with finding items and answering questions.
• Balance a cash register and process transactions while following laws.
• Ensure proper food safety for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean the working area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and trash areas.
• Potential cross-training in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, and Maintenance.
• Move 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
