Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring for a cashier role in Texas. You will provide fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers, performing cash register transactions and supporting store operations.

No prior experience? We will train you and help you grow with company-funded tuition assistance and development opportunities. This on-site position emphasizes versatility, teamwork, and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by finding items and answering questions about products and services.
• Balance a cash register and process transactions while identifying upsell opportunities in compliance with state and local laws.
• Maintain proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean and maintain your working area, sales floor, restrooms, gas/diesel pumps, and handle trash removal.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Move, lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
