Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is hiring for cashier roles in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist customers, handle cash transactions, promote add-on sales, and help maintain clean stores and fueling areas.

We welcome applicants with no experience and offer training. Flexibility, teamwork, and reliability are valued as you support multiple duties across departments and locations.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties: help customers find items and answer questions.
• Balance a cash register and complete transactions while promoting sales.
• Ensure proper food safety for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean working area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and take out trash.
• Cross-train in other departments like Restaurant Services or Maintenance.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

They may perform various duties depending on business needs so flexibility and teamwork skills are important. No experience? No problem. We will teach you!

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
