Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores is hiring entry-level cashiers in Indiana. You will support customers, ring up purchases, and promote add-on sales while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

No experience? No problem—training is provided. The role involves handling cash, operating a register, and adhering to safety and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced store setting, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Customer service duties including helping customers find items and answer questions.
• Balance cash register by completing customer transactions and promoting add-on sales.
• Use store technology and maintain food safety for deli products.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, sales floor, restrooms, and pumps.
• Cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Maintenance, or leadership roles.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
