Job summary

Dollar Tree in Reno, NV is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

This role requires strong customer service, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time hours are available; your day may include unloading merchandise, replenishment, and maintaining safe, positive store conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
