Job summary

Family Dollar in Jasper, FL is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, handle transactions at the register, and help stock and maintain store appearance.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred. Training is provided and scheduling is flexible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and coworkers.
• Keep store areas clean and presentable, including bathrooms.
• Other duties as assigned.
