Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Colorado LLC in Fountain, CO is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, manage sales transactions, and help keep the store stocked and presentable.

The role requires good communication, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and the willingness to follow instructions while interacting professionally with customers and team members. Part-time schedule with benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team members.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
