Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Kentwood, Michigan is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and organized.

This role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. You’ll work in a fast-paced team environment with friendly interactions and safety-minded practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking/standing activities.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, waste."Other duties as assigned."
