Family Dollar Stores Of Louisiana LLC seeks a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions, keep the store clean and stocked, and maintain a safe, friendly environment while working with colleagues and store leaders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous retail customer service experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
