Position Summary

The Store Consultant consistently delivers a positive customer experience by utilizing consultative skills to anticipate needs, suggest solutions, and provide excellent service. They are knowledgeable in print, signs & graphics, and shipping, responsible for taking orders, coordinating store activities, providing pricing and product information, and recommending FedEx Office products and services. They operate various equipment, manage projects, stock supplies, and prioritize tasks.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Following supervisor instructions and assisting team members
  • Training new staff

Service

  • Demonstrating consultative behaviors to understand customer needs
  • Recommending appropriate products and services
  • Providing outstanding customer service and resolving issues promptly
  • Handling complex orders and preparing items for shipping
  • Operating printing and related equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and safe store environment

Profit

  • Handling customer data confidentially
  • Processing transactions accurately, including cash handling
  • Maintaining equipment and supplies
  • Ensuring proper product displays and signage
  • Preventing errors and waste
  • Completing financial paperwork and assisting with reports
  • Adhering to operational policies and procedures

  • Managing multiple tasks efficiently

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ months of relevant experience
