Job summary

The role requires English fluency and flexibility, with six months of retail experience preferred. Prior Walgreens experience is a plus; compliance and asset-protection duties are also part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on the assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, and efficient checkout service.
• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolves customer issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Recommends items for sale and trade-up or companion items.
• Processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds and exchanges as needed.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean, merchandised, and prices items as directed.
• Assists with asset protection and loss prevention procedures.
• Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcohol, tobacco).
• Maintains displays, assists with stock rotation, and restocks as needed.
• Provides photo area service and supports web-pickup orders.
• Assists with store maintenance and adheres to company policies.
