Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Retail/Customer Service Associate to deliver a distinctive and delightful shopper experience at our store.

In this role you will greet customers, assist with products, handle checkout, stock shelves, and maintain clean, well-merchandised displays.

You must be fluent in English, willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and bring up to six months of retail experience.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Recommends items for sale to customers and suggests add-ons and companion items.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised and restocks as needed.
• Implements asset protection procedures to minimize loss.
• Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcohol and tobacco).
• Constructs and maintains displays and completes resets as directed.
• Provides customer service in photo area, including digital passport photo service and promotional products.
• Assists with web pick-up, monitors orders and delivers items when ready.
• Assists with exterior and interior maintenance to keep store condition neat and orderly.
• Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
