Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking Customer Service/Sales associates to deliver fast, friendly service by actively helping customers in need of guidance and product information. You will learn about products to assist in selling complete projects and will greet, qualify, recommend, and close customers within your department.

You will maintain in-stock conditions, keep areas clean and safe, and cooperate with supervisors and other departments to provide a safe shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly service by actively engaging customers to assess their needs and offer assistance.
• Learn about products using our tools to inform customers and help sell a complete project.
• Greet, qualify, recommend and close every customer in their department and support adjacent departments as needed.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and ensure areas are clean, shop-able, and safe.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards to management and work safely to protect coworkers and customers.
