Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Thomasville, GA to provide a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, stock merchandise, unload deliveries, and maintain a clean, safe store environment for all guests and team members.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or service experience. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, etc.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and general neatness.
