Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Chester, SC to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and help unload shipments while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods. Part-time employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and frequent walking/standing required.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills required.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean and presentable store and bathrooms.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Other duties as assigned.
