Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Missouri City, TX is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle cash transactions, and maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.

Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, replenishing shelves, and ensuring a safe, friendly environment for customers and staff. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs; previous retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
