Job summary

Talentify is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to join our team in Hurt, VA, delivering a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help with stocking and store upkeep.

Prior retail or service experience is preferred, and you will be expected to follow instructions, maintain cash security, and keep the store clean and organized. The role requires physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk regularly.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain the cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and waste management.
• Other duties as assigned.
