Job summary

Acosta Group seeks a Retail Coverage Merchandiser in Fort Myers, FL to optimize product visibility and drive sales for Primo Brands water. You will perform store visits, work with store managers, and use a tablet to collect data and report observations. Full-time position with competitive benefits.

You will cover a defined territory, support initiatives, and build relationships to increase product orders and ensure plan-o-grams are followed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cover a set territory of retailers with regular store visits.
• Support store managers on retail initiatives and new product introductions.
• Upsell plans by influencing store decision makers to order product.
• Develop and sell to key store personnel on objectives like brand info and shelf standards.
• Build End caps, pallets, hutches, racks and coolers displays.
• Receive deliveries and transport to stores to build displays.
• Collaborate with territory team principals and use a tablet for data collection.
• Ensure products are distributed and displayed; stock, price and rotate merchandise.
• Audit data codes and report observations to the Unit Manager.
• Communicate with management to meet objectives and sales needs.
• Identify opportunities and build relationships with store personnel.
• Execute the retail territory coverage plan to meet goals.

Description And Requirements

As the Retail Coverage Merchandiser, you'll be responsible for optimizing product visibility and driving sales for Primo Brands water in retail stores. Your duties include conducting store visits, collaborating with store managers, utilizing technology for data collection and maintaining product display standards. You'll provide retail sales merchandising, complete special projects, and build strong relationships with store managers to help increase sales for our clients.

What will you do?

• Cover a set territory of retailers, ensuring merchandising coverage goals are met through regular store visits.
• Support store managers on retail initiatives such as new product introductions and contests.
• Upsell the retail plan by influencing store decision makers to order product.
• Develop and sell to all key store personnel on major principal objectives such as brand information, shelf standards, etc.
• Build both scripted and incremental displays: End caps, pallets, hutches/shippers, racks, coolers, and other fixtures.
• Accept deliveries of large boxes (unbuilt, empty racks and cardboard hutches) and transport to the stores to build.
• Work with dedicated team principals in territory as assigned by supervisor.
• Work with technology, including a company-furnished tablet, to collect and report data from store visits.
• Ensure full distribution and display of products in assigned accounts, including cleaning, stocking, rotating, and pricing merchandise.
• Conduct audits to check data codes ensure adherence to approved plan-o-grams, and report observations to the Unit Manager.
• Consult with management, meet objectives and goals, and report store-level observations related to client product and customer needs.
• Advocate for clients through identifying sales opportunities, shelf work and building relationships with store mangers.
• Ensure merchandising coverage goals are met by executing the retail territory coverage plan.

Experience And Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong demonstration of core competency including quality commitment, attention to detail, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand and/or walk for long periods.
• Must have reliable transportation to visit a set territory of various retail locations.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
