Job summary

Meijer is seeking entry-level team members to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across services, product handling, and customer service. Team members enjoy interacting with people and delivering what “above and beyond” customer service means.

As a Meijer Courtesy Team Member, you will support daily store operations, assist customers, and work across departments to ensure a smooth shopping experience while embracing Meijer's values and community focus.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
