Job summary

Meijer is hiring an entry-level team member to support store operations in Indiana. You will handle essential tasks across departments, assist customers, and help keep the shopping environment safe and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen eye for details.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
