Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member to support store operations and deliver friendly, hands-on service to customers. You will assist with cart collection, cleaning, and basic tasks across departments, helping keep the store tidy and welcoming.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, have good listening and communication skills, and can lift and move items, operate basic equipment, and stay composed in a fast-paced environment. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or using equipment.
• Able to shine in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
