Job summary

D&D Building is seeking a Project Manager to lead Retail General Contracting and Fixture Installation projects in Michigan. You will coordinate with clients, architectural firms, and subcontractors to ensure projects align with plans and schedules.

The role requires strong communication, safety knowledge (OSHA/MIOSHA), and experience with construction software like MS Project, Procore, and Bluebeam. A construction management background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience managing subcontractors and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/MIOSHA safety standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with MS Project, Procore, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Retail General Contracting, General Trades, and Fixture Installation projects.
• Coordinate with clients, architectural firms, and subcontractors to ensure alignment.
• Support Estimating with pricing, quantity takeoffs, and bid preparation.
• Ensure quality assurance across all scopes of work.
• Collaborate with Superintendents and Foremen to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive construction schedules and document control.
• Monitor project costs and progress, resolving issues proactively.
• Prepare, manage, and track change orders to maintain scope and finances.
