Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. is seeking a Co Team Leader to provide leadership for the sales floor and receiving area.

You will lead a team to drive guest satisfaction, merchandising excellence, and financial oversight, while mentoring associates and supporting daily operations. The role requires at least 2 years of retail management experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer.
• Scheduling flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and seasonal periods.
• Must have a valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Team Leader with managing payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and related reports to ensure financial and operational goals are met.
• Demonstrate Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors in providing exceptional Associate and Customer service experiences; ensure all company standards are consistently demonstrated in every Associate and Customer interaction.
• Ensure that store standards, seasonal transition planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet all operational expectations.
• Develop and execute talent planning to support associate growth.
• Ensure proper scheduling and staffing to meet business needs.
• Perform all functions to open and close the store when needed and any additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.

The Co Team Leader is required to provide leadership for the successful operation of the entire sales floor and receiving area. The CTL creates and leads a sales team that is passionate about selling merchandise and ensuring a good associate and customer experience. Responsibilities include all aspects of merchandising, Associate development, customer service, and financial oversight.

Primary Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.
• Management experience in retailers such as Walmart, 5 Below, Burlington Stores, Big Lots, Dollar General, Rural King, Gabes, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Bed Bath & Beyond is an asset.
