Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to keep floors, seating areas, restrooms, and back offices clean and safe. You will follow SOPs, support store programs, and assist other team members as needed.

Responsibilities include performing daily/weekly maintenance tasks, assisting with cleaning projects, minor repairs, ordering supplies, and reporting hazards. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required; safety and quality are emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift.
• Work in wet and cold environment.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
• Follow directions and procedures with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent maintenance service.
• Performs all duties on the daily and weekly maintenance lists.
• Supports all teams with cleaning projects.
• Performs minor repairs and improvements.
• Participates in ordering supplies required for store maintenance.
• Helps with cleaning emergencies.
• Helps maintain the store’s landscaping and parking lot.
• Performs continual cleaning of all store departments.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Immediately reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
