Responsibilities

• Support a clean and inviting shopping environment that aligns with store standards.
• Perform floor maintenance tasks: strip, wax, mop, sweep, scrub, buff.
• Record completed sweeps using the store’s electronic system.
• Clean and sanitize checkstands, counters, and high-touch surfaces.
• Identify and clean spills or hazards to maintain a safe environment.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, restock supplies as needed and monitor inventory.
• Communicate supply needs to management to ensure appropriate stock levels.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste according to policies.
• Maintain exterior areas: sidewalks, planters, trash cans, and lighting.
• Disinfect areas involving Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) safely.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies and store properly.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies during cleaning and duties.
