Specs Family Partners is seeking a dedicated janitorial associate to maintain a clean and safe facility in Fort Worth. You will clean floors, windows, and restrooms, disinfect spaces, and restock supplies to ensure a welcoming environment for both associates and customers.

The role requires 1–2 years of janitorial experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Shifts may include Fridays or Saturdays, with a typical 40-hour workweek.

SummaryThe individuals selected for this position are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the facility in excellent conditions for all associates and customers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Knows and actively demonstrates, daily, our Company Mission Statement and our Core ValuesEfficiently carrying out all the directives given by Management Team (sense of urgency)Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuumingClean windows and mirrorsClean, disinfect, and supply restroomsRemove waste and empty trashRouting 2hr disinfecting and sterilizing all facilityMaintain cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleaned and inspectedReplenish cleaning and maintenance suppliesOrganize janitorial storage areasNotify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenanceHandle basic maintenance building repairs and other janitorial workPractices teamwork and cooperation with coworkersSeeks to continually improve related skills and knowledge to contribute to profitability and productivityUndertakes responsibilities with care and attention to detailWorking in accord with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHAAttendance and Timeliness is required. You must be able to talk and communicate with coworkers and guests.Mathematical SkillsYou need the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals without the aid of calculator or abacus. Must be available to work any shift on Friday or Saturday and must be available 80% or more of all shifts each week.Part Time is up to 25 hours per weekWe schedule for the needs of our business. Working outside of your scheduled time without Store Manager approval is prohibited. In other words, you cannot decide to make up hours because you missed some time after a night out with your buddies unless your manager oks it.Reasoning AbilityYou need the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Knowing when to come in from the rain is a plus.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
