Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring cashiers to work in a fast-paced environment, keeping the store clean and serving customers with a friendly smile. You’ll help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and handle transactions accurately. No experience?

No problem. We will teach you. You may also cross-train in other departments, assist with food safety for fresh items, and perform routine cleaning of your area, sales floor, and pumps.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Customer service skills and reliability are essential.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

They may perform various duties depending on business needs so flexibility and teamwork skills are important. No experience? No problem. We will teach you!

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
