Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring cashiers to work in a fast-paced retail environment, providing fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers. No experience? No problem.

We will teach you! You’ll handle transactions, help customers find items, maintain clean spaces, and support food service and safety standards. Responsibilities

• Assist customers by locating items and answering product questions.
• Balance a cash register and process transactions; upsell when possible.
• Use equipment to ensure food safety of fresh and deli products.
• Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and work areas.
• Cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, maintenance, or leadership roles.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds; work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
