Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops seeks friendly cashiers to provide fast, accurate service in a busy environment. You’ll help customers locate items, answer questions, and process transactions with a focus on safety and cleanliness.

No experience is required; we train you on our procedures, safety practices, and point-of-sale systems. This location emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adapting to varying shifts while supporting a welcoming, fast-paced workplace.

Qualifications

• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
• Strong teamwork and flexible mindset are important for this role.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions about products and services.
• Balancing a cash register and processing transactions with up-selling opportunities while following state and local laws.
• Ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Maintain clean working areas, sales floor, restrooms, showers, pumps and manage trash runs.
• Cross-training in departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen and Facility Maintenance.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
