Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring cashiers for a fast-paced environment. You will deliver friendly, accurate service, handle transactions, and support deli and shop operations. Training is provided; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties, helping customers find items and addressing needs.
• Balance cash register, complete transactions, and suggest add-on sales while following laws.
• Ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Cross-train in departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
