Love’s Travel Stops is seeking friendly cashiers to join our fast-paced environment. You’ll provide fast, friendly, and accurate service, help customers locate items, and answer questions about products and services.

You may perform various duties depending on business needs, including cash handling, food safety for fresh foods, and possible cross-training in other departments. We offer on‑the‑job training and a supportive team that values flexibility and teamwork.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions, and addressing needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following laws.
• Ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products.
• Maintain cleanliness of the working area, sales floor, restrooms, and pumps.
• Potential cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, or Maintenance.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
