Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Must adhere to Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest directives, rules, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Perform opening tasks: clean glass cases, counters, cashier station, and stock supplies.
• Perform register closing duties: count down register, process paperwork, reconcile, secure till and deposits.
• Pull and stock merchandise as directed.
• Handle payments and provide receipts to customers.
• Operate POS system accurately and efficiently, including employee purchases and charges.
• Bag customer purchases.
• Assist with customer service at adjacent work stations.
• Remove clothes from dressing rooms and rehang on racks.
• Move merchandise stock from sales floor to back room.
• Answer telephone and paging announcements as needed.
• Perform other merchandise stocking duties as assigned.
• Represent the company with excellent customer service.
• Meet recovery and merchandising standards.
• Complete Cashier Training successfully.
• Collaborate with Workforce and Family Services to provide participant services.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain agency confidentiality; violations may lead to dismissal.
• Comply with health, safety, and fire regulations (WISHA & OSHA).
• Other duties as assigned.
