Job summary

Goodwill-Easter-Seals-Miami-Valley-3 seeks a retail associate to perform sales, process donations, and price items for resale in our stores. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, and ensure merchandise meets quality standards.

The role involves stocking, sorting donations, and maintaining store displays with a team-oriented approach. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; lifting up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or shipping/receiving preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible hours.
• Must pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in a friendly and professional manner (greeting, selling, etc.).
• Greet customers and maintain a cheerful disposition while servicing customers.
• Operate cash register accurately and efficiently (change, receipts, etc.).
• Inspect donated textiles, furniture, appliances, and goods to determine saleability.
• Receive and handle donated goods from donors and stock shelves accordingly.
• Prepare textiles and goods for resale; price merchandise per criteria.
