Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a team member for front-end duties at our Halifax store. The primary tasks include scanning and/or entering numbers on the register, handling payments, restocking front-end items, and assisting with carts and cleaning as needed.

You will contribute to friendly customer service, operate cash registers, bag items, and help with special projects on the floor, ensuring a smooth checkout experience for guests across Pennsylvania stores.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to communicate and understand store policies and safety rules.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements.
• Ability to operate store equipment and tools.
• Complete introductory period (30 or 60 days).
• Must perform duties safely and meet performance standards.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Wear approved uniform and safety footwear.
• Technical training is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule and prepare equipment and PPE at shift start.
• Block aisles, set up checkout areas and displays as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Operate register, handle cash, and give correct change.
• Bag items and manage bag quantity for carts.
