Job summary

Rocky is seeking a cashier who delivers amazing customer service by engaging customers, processing sales quickly and accurately, and handling cash register operations. The role supports store operations and helps meet sales and productivity goals while maintaining a friendly store atmosphere.

The position involves greeting customers, ringing up purchases, stocking, merchandise placement, and participating in store meetings as needed; familiarity with promotions and Ace Rewards program is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ability to combine amazing customer service with strong sales skills
• Perform cashiering, product placement, receiving merchandise, processing shipments and stocking, store cleanliness, sales, and operating equipment
• Work with management to achieve sales and productivity goals
• Assist in maintaining store equipment
• Collaborate on ideas to increase store traffic
• Ensure displays are merchandised and maintained
• Provide amazing service following Helpful Customer Service behaviors and mystery shop standards
• Greet customers as they enter the store
• Answer phone calls
• Maintain awareness of promotions and advertisements
• Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and maintain cash
• Maintain orderly register area and stocked supplies
• Solicit customers to open an Ace Rewards card
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change
• Attend mandatory monthly store meetings
• Other responsibilities as assigned by store management.
