CHRISTENSEN INC in Caldwell, Idaho is seeking a reliable Retail Cashier to handle cash, card, and check transactions, greet customers, and provide friendly checkout service. You will balance cash drawer, process returns, scan items, maintain a clean checkout area, and support store operations under supervision of the store manager.

Must be 18+, high school diploma or GED, and have prior cash handling experience in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• One year of experience in a high-volume retail/food store environment.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Highschool diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proven track record of accurate cashier transactions completed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, courteous checkout service.
• Operate electronic scanning cash register to total customers' final bill.
• Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shift.
• Process returns and handle discounts and coupons per policy.
• Stock shelves and maintain a clean, safe check stand area.
• Assist with end-cap displays and inventory as needed.
