GPM Investments, LLC on James Island is seeking a Sales Associate to greet customers, ring up sales, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. You will handle lottery, tobacco and alcohol sales with proper age verification and adhere to all laws.

The role includes stocking, cleaning, and occasional cross-training in other departments. A friendly demeanor, reliability, and basic math skills are valued, with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for most of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and run the register with accuracy and speed.
• Handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales in compliance with age verification and laws.
• Offer friendly service and upsell when possible to increase sales.
• Keep store clean and safe inside and outside, including restrooms, pumps, and lot area.
• Stock shelves and displays to keep merchandise looking fresh.
• Cross-train in other departments, such as deli, as needed.
