Job summary

Extramile Store 620 in Redmond is seeking a part-time Retail Cashier / Customer Service Associate. You will greet customers, handle checkout, and maintain store cleanliness while promoting sales and handling age-restricted items per law.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a warm smile and friendly attitude
• Deliver a fast, accurate, and professional checkout experience
• Promote current sales and suggestively upsell to enhance customer experience
• Process transactions accurately, including alcohol and tobacco sales where legal
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including fuel islands
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with fresh and organized products
• Assist in maintaining foodservice and coffee areas, including cleaning and restocking
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and labeling procedures
• Support team members and complete additional duties as assigned

Shift: Part-time 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Must be 21 years old to work in this role.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for an extended period.
• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
