Jacksons is hiring for a part-time associate at our Portland, OR store. You will greet customers, ring up sales, promote specials, and ensure clean, stocked shelves while following safety and store policies.

This role requires flexible availability for a 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. shift, including weekends and holidays, with an hourly pay of $17.50. Our benefits include same-day pay, discounts, profit sharing, tuition reimbursement, and 401(k) with company match.

Responsabilidades

• Promote store specials and suggest additional purchases.
• Ring up sales accurately and follow all company policies, including those related to restricted product sales (alcohol, tobacco).
• Maintain store cleanliness, inside and out.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and displays as needed.
• Assist in cleaning and stocking the food service area.
• Follow all food handling, preparation, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Rotate and properly label inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $17.50 an hour.

Shift

Shift: part-time 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
