Jacksons in Portland, OR is seeking an Overnight Cashier to deliver friendly, accurate checkout service during late-night hours. You’ll greet customers, process transactions, and ensure a clean store environment while applying promotions and following policies.

This role offers a part-time schedule with night differential and a path for advancement. The position requires flexible availability for a 24/7 operation, reliability, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability for a 24/7 operation (nights, weekends, holidays).

• Retail or foodservice cashiering experience is a plus.

Shift: part-time 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

*Overnight Shift Differential: To be eligible, you must work at least 4 hours between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

• Apply discounts and promotions as applicable while following all company policies and laws related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, etc.).
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out.
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Assist with additional store duties as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
