Job summary

Jacksons is hiring for a part-time role in Mountain Home, ID. You will greet customers, process sales, promote specials, and ensure store cleanliness while handling restocking and food service area duties.

This role supports a 24/7 operation with flexible hours, including nights and holidays, and offers opportunities for advancement and benefits. Required are strong customer service skills, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and thank them for their business
• Provide fast, friendly, and professional checkout experiences
• Promote store specials and suggest additional purchases
• Ring up sales accurately and follow all policies related to restricted products
• Maintain store cleanliness, inside and out
• Restock shelves, coolers, and displays as needed
• Assist in cleaning and stocking the food service area
• Follow food handling, preparation, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Rotate and label inventory correctly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
