Job summary

Jacksons Food Stores, Store 619 in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Retail Cashier / Customer Service Associate. You will greet customers, provide fast checkout, promote sales, and handle transactions including age-restricted items with proper ID. Maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and support foodservice operations in a friendly, team-driven environment.

We offer a full-time shift 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to meet legal age requirements for regulated product sales.
• Stores require flexible availability for a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication and a friendly, helpful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a warm smile and friendly attitude.
• Deliver fast, accurate, and professional checkout experiences.
• Promote current sales and specials; upsell when appropriate.
• Process transactions accurately, including alcohol and tobacco per law.
• Maintain store cleanliness inside and outside the store, including fuel islands.
• Stock shelves and displays with fresh, organized products.
• Assist in foodservice and coffee areas; clean and restock as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and labeling procedures.
• Support teammates and complete additional duties as assigned.

• Shift: full-time 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.


• Must be 21 years old to work in this role.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for an extended period.

• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.


• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
