Job summary

Ace Hardware is seeking outgoing team members to welcome and assist customers. Training is provided, and previous hardware experience is a plus but not required. We offer full-time and part-time shifts with varied schedules to fit your life, including morning, mid-day, and evening options.

Qualifications

• Previous hardware experience is a plus but not required (training provided).
• Able to lift 25–30 lbs as part of daily duties.
• Willingness to help customers and learn hardware knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers, helping them find items for their project in one trip.
• Engage with customers in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Maintain a helpful, positive attitude and strong customer service throughout shifts.
• Stand for 6 to 8 hours and handle light lifting as needed.

Work/life balance:

This position is with a team that respects your life outside of work. We believe in earning your trust through clear communication. We schedule two weeks in advance, working with you so you can plan. Several different shift times during the week. Full time & part time available. Some examples of shifts are: Morning shift 7am-3pm, Mid day shift 9am-5pm, Evening Shift 3pm-7pm. These times are subject to change and we try to work with everyone’s schedule when we can.
