Garden City Ace Hardware is seeking friendly Cashiers to welcome and assist customers. The role involves handling register transactions, stocking displays, and helping customers find products. Training is provided, and prior hardware experience is a plus but not required.
You will greet customers, maintain a clean front end, balance the till, and participate in store meetings. High school or GED required; cashier and customer service experience preferred; basic Windows skills are helpful.
We are seeking outgoing, friendly, and helpful team members to welcome and assist customers. Previous hardware experience is a plus but not a requirement as we provide extensive training.
Our family owns and operates two hardware stores in SE Michigan. We have a long history of serving the community in both locations. Providing outstanding customer service is always our primary goal. After all, helping our customers is the most important thing we do every day.
The two stores are located in Garden City and Monroe.
The Cashier is responsible for register transactions involving the sale and/or return of merchandise. They also maintain the merchandise displays in their area.
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
High School or GED equivalent.
Cashier experience preferred. Customer service experience preferred.
Standing, walking, lifting (up to 40lbs) and climbing.
