Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Austin, TX is seeking a friendly, customer-focused store associate to help shoppers find the right gear and answer questions with enthusiasm. You will create a hassle-free shopping experience through product knowledge and attentive service.

You will greet everyone, interact with passion for sport, uphold brand standards for merchandising, promote warranty and loyalty programs, and foster an inclusive, respectful environment across all departments.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
